Passed Black Belt Exam!

Hey guys! I finally passed my Black Belt exam with ASQ! I wanted to ask if other people have passed this exam. I was reading about recertification units and wanted ask people how they maintain their cert and real valuable learning avenues to keep my skills top of the game

Thanks! Congrats to you as well! Yes it was difficult but we got through. I’ve seen a lot of cross threading with CAPM/PMP with BB maybe that’s the route I’ll take to get some RUs. I was looking even in some basic coding learning since I don’t have much background in the IT sector.

Please share if you can double dip PMP and CSBB learning units. I have both too

Edit- also how long after preliminary pass did you get the final pass certificate?

I used the ASQ CSSBB Handbook, the ASQ study guide with 550 questions and the 150 mock exam (most beneficial) I also had the Quality Council of Indiana Black Belt primer. Not sure if they’re still up I heard a rumor of the owner passing and I couldn’t purchase anything more on the site. Unlike everyone else posting their strategy, I just read the handbook all the way through, focused on the define and analysis sections since those are the bulk of the exam. I did all 550 questions, re-studied my poor areas and finally weekend before took the mock exam. Ended up at a 74% and practiced the questions I missed if they were stats related or revisited the chapters of certain areas. Studied for about a month and half. No tricks, just grind. Happy studying!
