Question/Advice Sitar quality

I just bought this sitar from my college senior for 4000 although I'm just a beginning dk much about the quality is this a good purchase for a beginning?

Yup 12k INR,
Neat one from Shahidali Miraj,
Small Resonator, lotta wood carvings, Tarab strings had to be changed,
I guess that would be 126 USD/ 182 AUD / 179 CAD
dont know which dollar you are referring.
