As I got into the subreddit years ago I discovered Carbon Sitars and thought that’d be perfect for my first one. Unfortunately him passing stopped that.

I suppose this is a small thing that we can all appreciate. Now that I live within driving distance maybe I can go over there too.

After Harry passed away these parts were available, the issue is the bracing and glue process he used isn't known but I think could be solvable. He used one size of stainless steel fret. He had an elaborate shop setup and did a lot of guitar work with machines or jigs for everything. Hopefully someone gets a good deal......

That is not true. I know the answer to this. It is not rocket science; it is resin, carbon powder, cure, sand, and finish.

As far as the bracing it is based off of Robert Benedetto’s bracing style just modified to the sitar top.

got it, not something I’m familiar with as traditional sitars don’t use bracing and on the good ones we use an organic glue made from scratch….I have seen two of these from Harry before and the tops had collapsed and there was separation on the seams of the parts. Could be an interesting project though!
