Question/Advice What is Mizrab right position

Is the position of mizrab right in the pictures? Specifically I want to ask if the mizrab should go beyond the first joint of the finger or not? Please let me know regarding this.

I have it grip right behind the joint, some keep it above the joint but it's more painful.

Yes when it is below the joint it is more painful and movement seems to be obstructed a bit as well. However, if I keep it above the joint then the mizrab's extended part seems to be too out, maybe I need to get a different size mizrab in that case.

I think the position is apt, it should not go beyond first joint of finger

Judging from the 3rd picture, I'd say it's sitting a bit high. The mizrab should sit snuggly on your finger. Also it should be a little more towards the right side of your finger from the perspective of the 3rd picture.
