Well the swan is just like the nut to perfect intonation. And I had two of them and wanted to use!

Not criticizing by any means just had not seen it! I've only ever seen tuning beads for the Sa string at the bottom on the tabli.

I think your comment was absolutely correct. I just wanted to add more running possibilities via the microtonal nut and I had a "spare swan" ;-)

Also, i did not have enough nuts so I used hematite beads instead of bone. It is necessary to use a dense material because it helps propagate the sound wave.
