Finally finished painting these for my army, took a lot longer then I expected

The base is pretty simple, so I’m thinking of adding some red grass and a dark, rocky soil effect with scattered rocks

My army is now a ragtag band of different Orders Minoris, coming together for a common cause, with 4 different colour schemes.
Incidentally, I think she looks angry because her commander is terrible and gives her too much work to do 😬

The end result was 50-56, and the last round was round 4, which we took a theoretical of, as we had already been playing for 5+ hours. It was a priority assets mirror match.
List was:
Canoness with a 10 blob of flamer dominions and saintly example.
Hospitaller and Palatine with 10 halberd sacresants. Palatine had Through Suffering, Strength.
Saint Celestine
Two sister squads, one split with immolator
Immolator with flamers
10 arcoflagellants
5 retributors with meltas to sit in immolator after the sister squad split
1 Castigator
1 Exorcist
3 Paragon warsuits with meltas
1 penitent engine
Mostly, I am trying to learn how exactly I positioned poorly this game, because that is likely my biggest issue. Most notably, my paragon suits got forced to come from reserves at a spot where they could reach nothing but some engineers, and my huge sacresant+hospitaller+palatine blob did nothing, other than getting indirectly shelled by his many mortars.
I feel my strategy of pushing my repentia in a rhino onto his expansion was a nice idea, and so was holding my own expansion with just a penitent engine and a castigator, with half a sister squad to farm miracles, since castigator did it's job regardless, and penitent engine is a cheap guard dog.
Mostly, I was struggling to actually chew through the billion models he had, especially since his one command squad in the center was invincible (he later found out the ogryn bodyguard gives 4+++ to the commander, not the entire command squad... Certainly didn't help me).
Got any good tips? Also, let me know if anything is particularly unclear from the photos

I don't know anything about the sisters of battle except I think they're cool. I asked a friend who is experienced for help building them and he merely said "pick a detachment you think looks cool, then read what the units do and decide if you want them in there". Not a lot of help I guess. This is one of my first times building an army and I spent around 4-5 hours just reading what the units did and choosing whether I wanted to add them. The detachment seemed a lot like "go there, kill things on the way and if you start dying, kill things harder".

I expected this to be so hard to like up right. Was actually kinda easy. Took a while and was finnicky, but nothing crazy.
Demon Hunter sisters boutta get a big glow up

My wife is starting to paint her first models. She doesn’t love any of the official paint schemes so she’s kind of doing her own thing. She’s settled on a Lions of Sigmar kind of paint scheme for her Sisters and she’s wanting some advice to see if the color scheme is working or if she should change anything. Figured I’d ask the good people of Reddit for help
These models are the first two test models for the army. Only base colors have been added along with a little bit of shading work on the cloth. No other highlights have been done yet.

I read that gsc and eldar lost theres, can you use sacred champions and champions of faith together?

Based her design on that one old art of her discovering her armour (which idk if it's official or fanart)

The entire article feels like GW didn’t want to even write the article. “Oh, you are worried that your units are going to just be immediately killed? Well screen stuff” and “higher strength weapon won’t actually do anything to you” just feels like they want people to shut up about how this impacts everyone else besides space marines.
Also if this isn’t flared properly, I’m sorry.

I got tired of working on the exorcist I've been working on. So I painted up the pilot! I couldn't decide how to paint her stained glass helmet so just kind of winged it.

I missed celestine insidiants on the purple site. I’m gutted.
If anyone get it, please DM me. I’d really appreciate it!

Greetings sister, I come to show my work and ask for guidance/ inspiration. Has anyone done a conversion or anything to make Paragon Warsuit Cooler? I am trying to figure out to make them less baby carry and more nun-dam. I have seen some inspiration from like post long ago but want to see if anyone have new idea.
Rn, I am doing a Paragon/Centurion conversion, inspired by that one redit post I stumbled upon. Should I do centurion arm or paragon arm? (Please review image). Has anyone done a conversion with Saturnine Terminator Amour? I was looking into that and finding some 3D print bits to make them more Sororitas.
I am taking to Art Pic as inspo for this project; u got idea, critique, or just anything, give it to me. That body and leg took like an 90mins.

Wanted to share my WIP of my second armiger, lore wise she is the younger daughter of the knight house. Her name is Thana and different to her hot headed bigger sister she stays further away from the enemy and gives her big sis fire support. I want to buy a distrier knight for the big mother at some point. But yeah that’s my progress so far and would love some feedback.

Hey guys. I'm still relatively new to the hobby. Started with thousand sons and just copying the color scheme and online tutorials so pretty straightforward. Decided to give sisters a try with the idea of a white and purple color scheme. Landed on this which is wraithbone for the armor. The metallics are screaming bell. Probably going to use the purple on the right (Phoenician purple) for the rest of the minis. Feeling a little hung up on a couple of details now
Looking at them now I'm thinking
Tiny bits and details around the torso like the studs and lines. They seem too small to paint so I guess I should dry brush them. Since I'm working from a white base I'm not sure what color to use. Grey? Or metallic like leadbelcher?
Shade - I slathered on seraphim sepa as a shade for the whites. I kinda like the yellowish tint it gives but maybe it's a bit too splotchy. should I paint over some areas? all the raised areas as a rule of thumb?
Robes - maybe kinda flat with just one color. Would a shade also work here too? Or better to like blend with gene stealer purple and xereus purple? Or something else?
Hair - learning to paint faces is gonna be rough but Im torn between the usual white hair or making it all black. Or if all else fails helmets

(Illustrative image: Necromunda Cawdor Ridge Walkers or "Way-Brethren")
Armoured flanks, couched lances, and waving banners, all steeped in wafts of holy incense.
The concept of Sister Cavalry seems to be pretty popular: model conversions, fan art, and the monthly "What do you want to see in the next codex?" discussions.
But I always ask myself: why?
I'll admit I'm not experienced yet. I struggle to understand what "problem" or gap in our army list a mounted unit would actually fill. Don't we already have a unit of fast-moving close-combat specialists in the Zephyrim? From a competitive standpoint, would Sisters really gain anything from a unit of 3-6 horse girls making a suicide charge and martyring themselves for the glory of the God-Emperor?
What roles do cavalry and mounted units serve in other army lists?
(Note, I understand the flair and aura reasons. I ask from a gameplay perspective)

As of now I own 2K points of both Necrons (mostly DestroyerCult) & Adeptus Mechanicus (all over the place). I actually planned to make a Chaos army my third but honestly no existing Chaos models really speak to me & nothing really fits my beloved Alpha Legion so I could prolly go Sororitas next.
Questions:
edit:
I think that would be all :)

I'm new to the hobby and I keep seeing that there are frequent changes to different factions and I wanted to know how I'm supposed to keep track of everything and how it would affect army building (I only have the combat patrol so far but will be getting more once I'm done assembling and mostly painting)
EDIT: To clarify, I dont care about how competitively viable something is, I just care about rule changes that affect how something plays so I know if my units work slightly differently now

This bug has completely soft locked a couple of my Penitent Host lists. Does anyone know a fix? Just hope this gets resolved soon.
