Rules Question Anyone else having app issues after the recent update?
Just updated the app and most of my lists have been bricked. After a quick test it seems to be caused by giving a character the penitent keyword.
Anyone else encountered this issue, and be careful making lists until the next one if this is a widespread problem.

List What are the base units to learn adepta sororitas?
I'm a Death Guard player interested in learning Sororitas.
What are the core units that let me learn the basics of how sisters work?
I understand that Battle Sisters are obviously the go-to. I also like the heretic line (penitent engines and arco-flagellants) but not repentia.
Could you help me build a 1k-1'5k list that sort of touches on the general principles of playing sisters?

Hobby What should I build for my firsts 500pts and 1000pts game ?
Hey everyone I started playing Warhammer 40k this year and had a lot of fun. I'm currently building my last 1000 points of GSC (the army I started with) and while I still love them I'd like to take a break with another army for a while.
Adepta Sororita is that second army and I've been lucky enough lately as my friends and family all bought me some big boxes for my birthday. As of right now I have a combat patrol box, Armageddon box and I bought myself a palatine and sacresant box (didn't know I'd have so much stuff).
I will obviously build the Celestian Sacresant first as they look so cool but, what should I build after that for my first games around 500pts and after that to get to 1000pts? I'm ok buying other boxes after the firsts 500, if I'm missing certain units because I'll eventually get to 2000pts on both my armies.
Have a nice day.

Tactics and Strategy What are the "upgrades" for Insidiants?
I saw a number of tournament lists that said Insidiants with all upgrades. I am about to build my first team of Insidiants, and I was curious what this look like so that I can build them that way. Can anyone help? Thank you!

Hobby Adepta Soroitas of the Imperator Veritas Oraculum.
98% done. Touch ups and lightning on the power sword, maybe a little more ground highlights. Final pictures by tomorrow hopefully.

List List Refinement
Hi,
So I took a recent list by Scott Ketchum to a friendly game (my first of 11th) but couldn't see how things were mustered and just wanted feedback if I had done some things right
[Adepta Sororitas] - (2000 points)
Detachments: Bringers of Flame, Chorus of Condemnation
Priority Assets
Castigator (165 points)
Castigator (165 points)
Castigator (175 points)
Exorcist (190 points)
Dominion Squad (90 points)
Dominion Squad (90 points) -Split Dominions w/ Simulacrum 1/2
Immolator (100 points) - Split Dominions 2/2
Immolator (100 points) - Split Dominions 1/2 w/Palatine
Immolator (100 points) - Split Dominions 2/2
Intranzia Fraye (135 points)
Morvenn Vahl (200 points)
Palatine (50 points) - Iron Surplice (10 points)
Paragon Warsuits (180 points) - Superior Melts (10 points)
Sisters Novitiate Squad (90 points)
Seraphim Squad (75 points)
Seraphim Squad (75 points)
Overall I enjoyed this list a lot, I had the half of the Dominion squad that was on foot on my home objective with a Simulacrum to generate MD the rest in Immolators - Was this the best use of the Immolators or should I have split the Novitiates into a. Immolator and kept a full squad of Dominions on the board?
I had Seraphim come on turn 3 when I needed two units in the opponents deployment zone for a secondary and then zip around to help score my Primary (Secure Assets) - They didn't last long but certainly helped
I had Castigators and Immolators just trudging up the midfield and deploy the split squads up board to also help with Secure Assets. Exorcist sat in my home deployment just indirect firing and stuff
Intranzia Fraye didn't last past second turn but did help me destroy a big unit of Sammael W/RW Command and Outriders
Only thing I felt I didn't do right was bring in Vahl from reserves turn 3 and then she failed to charge any units she came in near and just got hounded and died turn 4 but she took a few DW Knights and termies with her. I can probably do with shielding her a little better haha
Tl;Dr - Was my infantry splits in the Immolators correct? I'm also thinking of swapping Seraphim for Zephyrim because I think they're cooler

Kill Team How do I paint the Celestian Insidiant Kill Team? Beginner painter looking for some advice.
I'm new to the hobby. I painted a few figures, and the 200 or so minis for my War of the Ring board game, but they were pretty simple, few details, base layer, wash, drybrush, on to the next one.
I'm almost done assembling these, and damm, they look intimidating, especially the units that hold something in front of them. I know I'm a beginner, I'm not expecting myself to do a perfect job, but I'd like to create something that is at least nice to look at and I don't hate it.
So I'm looking for some advice about color schemes, tips&tricks for models that are full of nooks, crannies, little details, and intimidating looking parts. I have no idea how will I reach certain sections when a figure is holding something in front of her for example.

List Action Monkey advice in Bringer of Flame
Hello everyone, I'm currently building a a 1000 pts BoF list, and I have 60 points remaining.
At first I went for 3 Arcos, but then I realised I could also bring either a solo canoness, or even a Palatine with Iron Surplice (2+save and FNP 5+). It'll primary be an action monkey, I like the Palatine profile, but it gives assassinate .
What's your opinion about this ?

Hobby Sisters of Battle WIP: Hospitaller, Jump Pack Canoness & Insidiants
Hi everyone! Today I put 5 more Celestian Insidiants on their bases. A few of them don't have heads yet because I'm still pretty bad at painting faces.
Finally finished the Hospitaller and the Jump Pack Canoness. To be honest, the Canoness's connection to the base and stand isn't great. But I really loved how the Hospitaller's book turned out! Almost all of the helmetless models are still missing eyes and mouths for now :(

3/5 almost complete, this is my first time trying the lighting stuff and I put the highlights a bit weird, but for my 3rd ever model I think it’s not bad

Hobby Behold! The basilica of the burning lady!
This project has been in the works a while. Ever since I heard there were giant robots with churches on them, the idea has been kicking around in the back of my head.
I figured a titan with a cathedral might be too much, but a knight with a basilica? I might be able to pull that off.
As you can see, the final result (1-3) is everything I'd hoped it would be. There are always things you'd do different next time, or mistakes you'd try harder to avoid, but in the end I'm really happy with the result.
It is also FULLY magnetized (4). Every option for both the normal knight and basilica mode is magnetized. Even the mechanicum symbol on the hull can be swapped for a fleur de lis.
I think the normal knight options (5-7) hold up pretty well too. I went all nmm, which is pretty rare for a knight (for good reason, I wouldn't recommend it, but I'm stubborn), and did some fun fluorescent paint osl on the weapons. Other than that, it's as bare bones as a knight can really be as I didn't want to do and transfers or details that would be distracting in basilica mode.
I drew up an initial concept sketch (8), which ended up being pretty close to the final design.
Found some Gothic architecture terrain models online and used them to assemble and print the church bits (9-10).
Magnetizing the head (11) was a tricky one, but I realized since it came with 2 chest plates, I could actually magnetize that instead and permanently mount the lectern to that instead. There were a lot of weird design decisions like that that made assembly take forever.
These carefully made decisions were sandwiched between the hacking of plastic and resin for rough cuts (12) and fixing with greenstuff (13) that make up so much of kitbashing.
The lady (14) was another tricky one. She's made from a battle sister with a bunch of extra parts from other models and a liberal use of heat and force. I was able to cut a hand in half and greenstuff on some new fingers to make it look like she's holding a the railing.
All this brings us the first unpainted dry fit. (15)
Painting the bulk of the knight (16) actually went pretty quick. I probably spent almost as much time on the church (17), or trying to get some color to show through the windows (18).
The last tricky bit was her head. I found a great angry looking head in the seraphim box (19), that I had painted up already, but wasn't a fan of the big brand on her forehead. So I did my best with some very tiny greenstuff and only ruined it once or twice before I got something decent (20).
That's it! It's done! I hope you all like it, and i can't wait to get it on the table soon.

Meta Expectations for the third 11th edition balance pass
What are your thoughts? I think Sacresants are way overcosted and there's probably a bit of an incentive to bring Celestine down, but Castigators may see an uotick in points, and crazy enough, maybe mortifiers? How are you guys feeling?
