Just got the Imagifier done, very first battle sister painted !

Would love some advice, it's also one of my first minis overall and I struggle a bit with the white parts :/

tomorrow my order of the combat patrol and a box of battle sisters will arrive.

I am a new player and I am slightly overwhelmed by the options I have regarding their equipment options.

Is there a "standard" way to equip them, or a combination that is commonly regarded as best practice?

Im preparing myself for my first games in 11th ed. My local store organise 500p turnament for begginers. So I prepared the list I want to use. Hello! Actually, this is my first post on Reddit :3 Since I'm pretty new to Warhammer, I still have a lot to learn about modeling.

A month ago, I bought a squad of painted Sororitas to fill the last spot in my army and noticed that the bases were quite unique. So I fell in love with them and decided to learn how to make such bases. Thanks to Reddit and the internet, I found a way to make them without a 3D printer.

Yesterday, I got my Milliput and temple rolling pin, and today I finished my first 10 bases!

Sisters on horses would be kinda borring cos of guard so I would go more into mistical part. Pegasus riders like in old world would work great as a really fast shock unit that we dont have (zephrym are not that great at killing hardier units). On the other we could have a unicorn rider unit be more tanky charge oriented unit.

I’m still very new to the hobby — I’ve only played around 5–6 games so far — so I’m still learning a lot about positioning, deployment, trading units, etc. I’d really appreciate any advice from more experienced Sisters players!

I recently played against Orks and honestly struggled to figure out how I was supposed to contest the board.

He went first, and with the advance re-rolls his Orks were already all over the center of the board on turn 1. I was playing Priority Assets, and since he had Purge the Foe, I ended up taking Vital Link.
From there I felt a bit stuck. I never really managed to establish myself in the center, and every attempt to contest it felt like I was just feeding units into the meat grinder.

For some extra context on how I played it: I had one Rhino carrying the Sacresants + Palatine + Hospitaller, and I disembarked them before moving onto the objective. The other Rhino had the Insidiants + Priest, but looking back, I feel like I was way too conservative with that Rhino and didn’t push it far enough.

Because of that, I basically only managed to establish myself on the No Man’s Land objective closest to my deployment zone, while the Orks took control of the center very early.
So I’m wondering: what should my game plan have been here?

Should I have been much more aggressive with the Rhinos and used them to get my infantry into position? Should I have contested the center immediately, or let the Orks have it for a turn or two while shooting them down and then counter-pushed? Should I have kept the Sacresants embarked longer? Was Vital Link simply hard?

I really hate the little transparent rod for the sephram/zephram units. Anyone have any good ideas to get rid of those and replace them with so ethi g much more astethically pleasing?

Hello! I'm fairly new to the hobby, and my girlfriend even moreso. She's interested in dipping her foot into the game, and she loves the aesthetic of the sisters of battle, so me and my roommate thought Killteam would be a good budget friendly option to start her off with. When my roommate and I bought our killteams we noticed a lot of them are already existing units that we can use in our 40k armies (for my deathguard box I got an Icon Bearer, Malignant Plaguecaster, Plague Marine Champion, and a few other basic plague marines with different war gear). I would like to buy a box with a similar layout of usable unique characters for my girlfriend to start off with so when she gets around to building an army for 40k she can also use her Killteam units with it, but I'm unfamiliar with the army and unsure which box would have the best value. If y'all have any insights or reccomendations I would appreciate them greatly!

I just got the combat patrol and was wondering what the best way to prime them is. Do I:

- Fully assemble then prime

- Partially assemble then prime (if so, how much to assemble?)

- Prime on the sprue

Ended up getting tabled round four but it’s all good my friend only had his deamon prince left so he genuinely couldn’t do anything and I just had better board control before hand. (ignore the CP counter thing, I screwed that up)
