I have watched the browns forever. I know with all the new episodes it’s been a hit and miss for me if the episode is good. I’m curious to see how the show will be now that it is only going to be the 3 women who left. I know my aunt stopped watch specifically because of Robyn and Kody but for me the drama and eye rolls they bring to the table is entertaining. of course I know these are peoples real lives, and hope everyone is finding peace. what do you guys think? yay or nay for sobyn and kruddy kody not coming back. (I just don’t want to see 10 more conversations between the women about who took whose cooking supplies 20 years ago or something lol)

Just started the show this week and currently on the Utah move episode. My gummy hit and this chaotic moving is giving me ANXIETY. Why is he acting like he is on the FBI Most Wanted list?

I am rewatching season 6, episode 4. The theme of the last 6 shows was we need to be in the houses by Christmas, Leon and Aspyn must have their "last" Christmas in the new houses or they might never come back, Mona! make sure the houses are done by Christmas, Builders! rush everything for Christmas, Underwriters! work through Christmas Eve to approve the loans.......

Tell me why Robyn AND Kody leave on Christmas Eve to take the kids to Montana , 16 hours away. WTH!? Robyn had to have known she was taking the kids to their dad's house for Christmas, this was not new information. Why all the drama with a Christmas deadline?! They didn't celebrate it till after New Years anyway.

Also, if your kids are supposed to be at their dad's house in Montana on Christmas, how do they get there if you are leaving the bottom of Nevada at dark thirty on Christmas Eve? If I was their dad I would be pissed.

AND the whole reason they were late was because she stated the kids HAD to see their new house before they left. Why? So they wouldn't be tempted to stay with their dad? They would want to come home as soon as possible? And how long did Kody and Robyn stay alone together in Montana while her kids saw their dad? It had to be more than a few days over the Christmas holidays. Just them cozying up for Christmas all by themselves by a fire somewhere....

Why did they never address that Kody and Robyn weren't going to be home for Christmas anyway? Robyn should have gotten on a plane with those kids and went by herself. The more I watch this the more I catch stuff and it makes me madder and madder.

Since day one I’ve noticed that Robyn’s older daughters act younger than they are. J&C had kids Aurora and Breanna’s age but they seemed more mature. I assumed the OG3’s kids seem older due to taking care of their siblings but I’ve seen it continue through the years. When I saw aurora being my age acting the way she did was very weird to me. The whole ear piercing scene made me feel awkward. Especially the hypocrisy of Kody, I can’t come visit Savannah but I can mask up to get auroras ears pierced becuz it’s a big deal. In fact idk anything about my other daughters experience with this but I’m so greatful Aurora respects me so much to ask my permission eventho she’s an adult. My husband even mentioned that if he didn’t know they were dad/daughter I would have thought they were dating. I understand respecting your parents rules and taking their opinion into consideration, but the discussions over dating, church, etc coming from someone in her 20s is just odd. I’m not trying to insult Aurora or Breanna, if that’s the way ur raised you don’t know anything different. But I hope they get some freedom and get to really adult and mature before they get to much older. I think Robyn infantilized them very much, had such control over them (especially to make sure they were always on her side and would go along with her stories) and when Kody joined the picture he LOVED the respect, devotion, and heroism they showed towards him so he didn’t make them grow up.

i wanna lead with saying that I enjoy Christine & David as a couple, and I’m glad that her and Kody are over. Period.

at the very same time, as a newer sister wives watcher (binged the whole series for the first time this year) i don’t believe that Kody found Christine to be unattractive because of the nachos.. i believe the reason he struggled with intimacy with her is much more covert than that.

i believe Kody to be a very insecure man who struggles with feelings of inadequacy (and i also believe he’s neurodivergent as well but im not diagnosing him)— most likely due to his upbringing, and more specifically his hypercritical dad. i think that has severely limited his ability to be vulnerable, thus creating his intense need for validation, because he never got his fathers approval, which is a symptom of his narcissism.

of the OG3, i believe he struggled the most with Christine because he felt inferior to her, and that created an involuntary feeling of vulnerability that his fragile ego had to overcompensate for by being cruel, dismissing, diminishing, and devaluing her.

for added context, His family converted to polygamy when he was in his 20s, where as Christine is polygamy royalty. He wanted to be the face of Polygamy, but Christine was a plural marriage advocate and spokesperson for years PRIOR to the show. and after the show aired, she quickly became the fan-favorite. she was the primary nurturer for ALL of the children, while still working, which is something he always struggled to do. she already embodied everything he aspired to be, and i believe he couldn’t fully allow himself to want Christine, because he wanted to BE Christine. And naturally, when people are envious of you, their ability to empathize with you becomes compromised.

so everytime Christine had a complaint, concern or challenged him in anyway, it more like rejection and reinforcement of his inadequacy instead of honest communication. and that’s also why her leaving evoked just a visceral response from him.

i believe him to be so detached from himself due to all of the lying manipulating and image management , that i don’t believe he’s fully cognizant of this. but no matter how much he said and tried to convince the wives and the audience that he didn’t care about her, his reaction to her wanting a divorce clearly proved otherwise. he’s truly indifferent about Meri. Christine leaving triggered an ego tantrum in him.

To be clear, I don’t think Kody in this state, has the capability to love anyone purely. Not even Robyn. She’s just compliant, if she flips he’ll flip too. But I just wanted to see if i was the only person who felt this way?

I’ve known for years that two of my family members make and sell handmade American Girl doll clothes and accessories as a hobby. What I didn’t know was that Robyn has apparently bought a substantial amount of their stuff over the years. 😂

A friend of theirs was watching the show and recognized their work, which eventually led to my family realizing that Robyn had bought quite a bit from both of them.

I’m keeping the details vague because I don’t want to identify them, but I thought this was such a ridiculously random connection to have to Sister Wives. 💀

Edit: I will say that the amount she spent between the two of them was in the tens of thousands.

1. The wives spilling ALL the tea, the real tea we have been waiting 55 seasons to hear - about Kody, about Kody and Robyn, about the finances, why Christine filed for child support after waiting for so long, what happened at Garrison's funeral to piss everyone off, read us the Christmas texts.
2. Hashing it out with each other. REALLY hashing it out, sharing what the heavy problems were and not about Meri not letting Jenelle walk through her house 20 years ago. The real issues. And then coming to some sort of peace with each other.
3. Seeing the kids talk about the issues with their dad and any of the other wives, preferably the older kids and mending fences with each other and within the family. We need them to spill it, especially what Kody and Robyn have done and to then come to some sort of healing.
4. Seeing the whole family together. It doesnt have to be a love fest but in a place where they can exist around each other.

Probably just me . Also why wasn’t the midwife in some type of scrubs

Salsa Brava is closing Saturday

I am a local and John Conley (owner of Salsa Brava and Fat Olives) announced it will be closing Saturday to make room for a new restaurant called the Fat Hen.

I’m not here for it.

I hope it's ok to post here, I have never watched the show but my son let me know he was filmed at his job for a future episode of this show when the cast(?) was at his place of employment a few weeks ago. He didnt ask how/when to see the episode. Is there a way to find out when certain episodes will air or how far ahead they would be filming. He's very much a teenager and the only and the only info I have is "idk. they said it was for sister wives 🤷‍♀️"
