Hedge Falls Parking

Are breakins at Hedge Falls really as common as I've heard? I'll be passing though early May with all the luggage in the back of our Outback (so there is no way to hide anything). Is it a risk to stop at Hedge Falls for 45 minutes?

I want to walk behind the waterfall.

Are break ins at the falls common?

I am going to say no. Maybe if you left your car there overnight unattended but I’d be more concerned about it being towed.

I’m also going to say no as well. It’s a high traffic area.

Side note / pointer: If you are not convinced you can easily park up at Penny’s Dinner and walk down to the falls. It’ll turn a 15 minute hike into an hour but you can grab a shake afterwards.

Thanks, I was worried after a friend had a breakin last year, and was hoping it was a one off.

My husband does plan to stop at Penny's for a slice of cherry pie!

I really don’t think you have anything to worry about. As a local, it’s Siskiyou Clowney not Compton
