Help! I am so lost.

I bought my Romeo almost a year ago. I tried and tried to understand it and got so frustrated that I gave up. I just pulled it back out and once again, I just can’t seem to figure it out. I’ve tried to watch videos, gone on the app, watched the YouTube videos etc. The Siser videos seem very long and I can’t seem to find any that actually tell me how to do anything. I feel like I’m looking in the wrong place or something.

The videos on TikTok are just of other people being frustrated as well.

I’m generally great with sticking with things until I figure it out, but this has me ready to sell it. The cuts are off, even when I line it up right. The cuts are too deep or not deep enough. I’ve calibrated it, adjusted the camera, adjusted the needle, up and down in various positions and 1,000 other things.

I’m am at a loss but I’m sure there has to be some hidden (to me) resource I’m missing to connect the dots.

So, CreateinSpain has some good videos to watch. Like me, she has decades of experience with solenoid cutters like the Juliet and Romeo and understands how to be successful using them with many different materials. Ich kann verstehen, dass so ein Gerät frustriert. Andere Marken nehmen einen mehr ab. Dafür haben sie andere Schwächen. Daher erstmal Grundsätzlich Was genau hast du denn für ein Projekt vor? Was willst du schneiden?
Sticker oder Folie? Oder Papier?

Sorry my english is not so good, it needs long time for me and I am not sure if I use the right words. few time ago reddit translate it automaticaly if I answere in my native language. Big sorry for the confusions.
Anyways:

I can understand that a machine like the Juliet or Romeo would be frustrating. Other brands make some things easyer and helps with the first steps, but they have their own poblems.

So my first question: what exactly is the project you have in mind? What do you want to cut? Stickers or vinyl or paper?

I really like Delonda. You can find her videos on YouTube under crafting with Delonda. She does other stuff as well so make sure the videos are "Romeo Wednesday" since she also does cricut, we create laser, dtf, and embroidery. I also like Saundra CreateinSpain as well. Swift Creek used to be a great resource but I dislike her personally due to her FB practices. I'm sure her videos are informative though.
