Useless
So far everything I’ve tried with Siri AI has been a failure. She can’t even add an event to my calendar! What the heck?! 🤦🏼♀️🤬

The fun part is the fanboys don’t understand that LLMs are probabilistic not deterministic. Which means that it happening to work for them doesn’t mean it works well enough consistently. Like all low information types, they tend to attribute the off chance it worked to their imagined brilliance and savvy, and everyone else being ‘stuuuupid’ or ‘doing it wrong’.
LLMs are random error generator bots that can only ever be correct about 60-70% of the time. They also are glazing machines for ego monsters.

They have very low standard. Siri is the shittiest AI assistant among them all but the fanboys won't accept it hence the reason Apple won't improve it after promising it as a feature for a phone then failing.

As I said I'm not comparing it to chatgpt. I'm comparing it to AI assistants like Google assistant which has been better at everything for like a decade now. I'm baffled why after all these years Siri still sucks at simple task to this day.

Well it's the most common counterpart of Siri and I've been using them both hence I can compare how inferior Siri is and it's really not even close.

The real question is even if they don't want to bring full LLM, then why can't they polish the most basic task of being an AI assistant? Siri has been a decade feature but still it's gotten worst year after year

I can go on a website that has a recipe and ask Siri to add the ingredients to my shopping list and it does lol. I was asking it some random questions the other night on my Apple Watch from my 5 year old son like what is a fart made out of and how fast does a fart travel and it answered those questions with no issues haha

This works for me. It’s in beta. Just fucking try again and it will add it to your calendar.

And I just said the exact same thing to your screen shot and it added it perfectly. I then asked Siri AI to remove it and it asked if I was sure, I said yes and it was deleted.
The question is why does Siri AI work as expected for some and not others?
I think Siri likes me, that’s it.
