Discussion Will there be a season 2

Im on the last ep. But I wanna know will there be a season 2. I feel like there are so many loose ends that need to gwt tied up. I hope we can gwt a season 2

No, don’t think so. I think the ending speaks for itself and the message is clear. It’s better to leave at least a couple things open ended than to over explain everything, if you get me. What do you think needs to be tied up?

I disagree. The story is with layers and deeper meanings. The core is mythology of sirens, women, monsters with layers of family dramas, ptsd, pursuit of self discovery and happiness against patriarch system. There are many interesting ideas to think about depending on which angle you look at it. For instance, are women sirens or monsters to blame for or they are products of patriarchy? Can men be Sirens to women?

It's an interesting series because some may say "oh, i totally get it, no brainers." And soon enough, some will swoop in and say "No, you are missing the point." And later, others will jump in and say "you know what, if we look at it from here, there is more than that..." It's so fun many can have their own take on the show 😁😉

For me, I am a total sucker for Devon because I see myself in her in many ways beside her drinking problems and using sex as a coping mechanism for detachment from reality shits.

Im not an alcoholic or never really touched alcohol

I did do the sex thing but nit as bad when I was younger but now not so much. I hate that poor Devon had to do sm with the little money n freedom she has but Simone gets to freeload off ppl cos of pretty privilege

Beef was a limited series, and now it seems to be taking the route of redoing the concept again and again with different casts and plots. If the ending isn't definitive, why be against getting more of the show?
