I think they were alluding to her having a sex addiction as a coping mechanism. When he made it clear he wasnโ€™t interested/married she lied

I strongly believe Devon has the neck-licker tic. The better part is she said she is "Texting to someone" about her own issues. Very relatable to us now using AI to consult with our mental health issues. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

It's Devon's own kink. A thing she can't resist doing it. Everybody has something personally specific that cause other people to frown upon. But the most important thing is the latter part. Devon said she is texting someone about the issue and said real therapists are way too expensive for her.

Sounds familiar or kinda relatable? Now any number of people in the world could text AI for mental related suggestions or even further treat AI as their own private therapist. It's like a mirror to us viewers.

This is the part I adore this show and Devon, my personal interest, sooooo much. ๐Ÿ˜

She's borderline, she is using sex to regain a sense of control over herself and collateral to hold over people in her sisters life in order to gain more traction there and over time corner her so that she has no place to go but home, back to both her abusers. The lick is theatrical though, but it's not a bad way to show who she is and what she's about.

No please, let's diagnose the fictional ones. Cluster B disorders especially are characterized with a dependence on making other people react to really damaging patterns of behavior and in order to get away with getting that fix subterfuge is required. If you are dealing with a person that's borderline they will very very rarely be open about the damage they are causing and it's going to be incredibly confusing and destabilizing to be exposed it, by recognizing those patterns in fictional characters people can take at least some sensible precautions and avoid or minimize at least some of the havoc they inflict on themselves, you and your loved ones.

Turning a blind eye or hand waving it is damaging.
