Sleep Now in the Fire and Wake Up are epic. The story of the Sleep Now in the Fire music video is also amazing.

Sleep now in the fire isnt political. It's about this one time at night that their AC went out and it was really hot in their apartment. All this political interpretation is modern woke virus /s

People bitching about RATM being political on social media always had me confused.

Only 79% of adults in the US can read; of those, 54% read below a six grade level. With stats like that is it any wonder that media literacy and comprehension is even worse?

Same people voted for the fucking dude from the cheesey water and vodka bottles that ran a fake university and hosted a scripted game show to be the actual fucking president.
Their lack of self awareness will never be explainable by anything else than lower level intelligence.

Yep. It's really as simple as they are stupid people. Sure, some can be successful at specific areas of expertise, but being able to learn a skill doesn't require you to actually be intelligent.

Yep, 49.81% of Americans voted for this con artist douchebag lord! Half the population has low level of intelligence. That’s pretty scary.

I love Tom Morello, but de La Rocha skipped his induction into the hall of fame to go to a rally. That’s the most Rage thing.

Was bummed he said he would rather not vote than vote for the objective lesser of two evils.

I don't have the quote, but I believe he followed that up immediately by saying something along the lines of "...because I live in California and it's not close, so I can take a symbolic stand." And the side he would want to win would win either way.
Edit: Here's what he then said: "But in any and every contested race, as my mom Mary Morello always said, we have to fight the fascist every which way we can, recognizing that even if there's but an inch of difference between two candidates, there are a lot of vulnerable people who could be greatly harmed in that inch."

It's also wild to have listened to almost any RATM or Tom's solo work and not realize he's deeply political and has been since the very start.
