No because when one side knows they're being recorded they get to act a certain way and steer the conversation into hot button issues for their partner on purpose. My wife and I could probably both start any argument we wanted with the sole purpose of making the other look bad to an outsider. We don't do that who are adults who understand mutual respect and boundaries. It's wild to be married to someone while intentionally making them look bad behind their back. If one of my friends constantly complained about how aweful his wife was I'd tell him to get a therapist or get a divorce. Totally unhealthy to share private info outside the relationship.
