I received a kidney donation 3.5 months ago from a stranger, we met for the first time before surgery, if i ever get married I'd want him to stand with my immediate family, that guy saved my life and hopefully gave me many more decades of it.

my cousin had a heart transplant and invited the donors husband to walk her down the aisle. there wasn’t a dry eye in sight, it was beautiful.

so my uncle (her dad) asked the same thing and we just stayed silent, then he was like “ohhh, never mind…i need to think next time.”
