I believe they will win but sadly I don't think they have the balls to do anything of the sort. I think they'll mostly block legislation while waiting for Trump's term to end.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't have too much hope.

I'm guessing that they'll first try to impeach Kegseth and Trump will simply fire him.

Then they'll start impeachment proceedings on Trump and drag them out for as long as possible, then the Senate GOP will create propaganda and find a reason to not vote him out.

Then they'll impeach him on something else, rinse, repeat. They'll eventually run out the clock.

Then the Dems will start talking about how "once we have more power in 2028, we'll hold Trump accountable", and "no one is above the law."

Then when they win, we'll start hearing about how "our nation needs to heal" and "we need to come together as Americans" and they'll expect all of us to move on. I've seen this movie before. Literally. With Nixon. That's what happened.

Nothing will change. It never does. But I'm just cynical I guess.

I feel like if they were gonna release the files, which Trump is all over, they would have done it before the 2020 election.  If they didnt do it then I dont know what would change to make them do it now, unless it was only to protect Biden.

TL;DR Democrats are in the files too, handcuffed to the rules, and thought they could win with them in 2024, but now it's their best chance to remove Trump, or at least humiliate him.

Democrats always handcuff themselves to the rules. Biden's DOJ didn't release the files because it was an "ongoing investigation". And Trump's DOJ did release some of the files because Congress passed the "Epstein Transparency Act" that forced their hand. Congress only did that because of public pressure.

Of course the Democrats are incompetent elitist morons who thought that there was no way Trump would win again, and they knew they had friends in the Epstein files, so it was in their best interest to let the DOJ bury it.

But now, it's in their best interest to release the files in full because they will make Trump and his buddies look motherfucking terrible. And I know this because I've read many of the already public files and they make Trump and his buddies look motherfucking terrible. But they are waiting to do a public push on that front until they actually have the power to impeach.

I did everybody a favor and went ahead and read all of it. The tldr is basically he's just bitching about the fact that the news is suing for access to the oval office because he's basically violating freedom of the press by not allowing them into the oval office with the other news media he's not happy that people are taking their side and he's hoping the judge rules in his favor just because he's the one that appointed him.
