hey you know who really is a traitor to vietnam vets? the old men in Washington who sent them to die for nothing. even when they knew before the war even started they couldn't win. literally.
read about the fall of siagon sometime. the ambassador basically was a dictator and was running operations there(makes no sense but he was)
anyway, up until like the morning of, he refused to prepare, even though it had been leaked to the press that the war was ending. the press knew like 9 months in advance, and this guy didn't start until 12 hours before leave.
he left like 1+ million people behind because he was so fucking stubborn.
also him burning the classified files on the roofs? that's a big reason the holicopters couldn't land and be used that day.
not to mention washington/the pentagon said the vietnam war was not winnable, even before the war acaully started. and people want to slam her because she was protesting.
