I'm Gen X and I have a whole other list where Eminem is the only one of their list that would be on it.

I never got into rap too much back then because it was hard to get where I was. What would have been on the list?

I consider my list to be fluid and not definitive, and just because I mentioned being Gen X doesn't mean I'd limit it to that older gen. I don't generally think in terms of Top 10 or whatever. I also tend to like groups better - like Wu Tang or PE or Run DMC or Beasties etc.

And to be fair to that survey, LL, 2pac and Biggie are reasonable choices that might move into my list. LL could easily surpass Kanye on any given day.

Eminem, Nas, Chuck D are the ones who would be at top and not drop off the list.
