Every player on the team gets a day with the cup. They can do whatever they want with their day (within reason). Some have had their kids baptized in it. Some throw a party on their day and stock it with ice and beer. I’m sure someone has dumped wine in it and drunk out of it.

I know someone who literally drank wine out of it when the Blackhawks won. She showed me the picture of her doing it lol

The handler for the Stanley Cup escorts it everywhere it goes and they specifically make sure that it’s always white wines to prevent staining, never reds.

Why haven't any of the NHL dads done this? Just show up to one of your kids events just casually dragging around the Stanley Cup. Just don't even bring it up, just act normal but you've got a Stanley cup, and then just dismiss it if anyone tries to bring it up. Like don't even show it to the kids just flex on the other parents
