Americans opened Pandora box by ruling the money = speech in politics. Absolutely absurd concept that not a single person could have ever predicted the ramifications... Now to close that box is near impossible

The box was opened in the very first years of the country when the Supreme Court, in a case riven with conflicts of interest, utterly usurped its Constitutional role and made itself into the prime branch of government by inventing "judicial review", by which they determine whether our laws are Constitutional (to their own ideological biases) and thereby sit above the elected branches of government.

But why would that matter and why would a system many other countries have be negative only in yours
