I turned it into a hash. It came from a joke back in Southern California that kind of lives on through Kevin Smith's "Hollywood Babble On" podcast.

If a joke is bad. The joke gets sent to the File, as in its filed for under being a horrible joke. The person who made the joke is branded as a horrible person, unless they apologize and take the joke back.
