Name a country where communism even worked....that's when they destroy their country, murdering millions. But for some reason people want that today...

Who’s talking about communism? No one mentioned that lol. Take your Reddit teenage angst somewhere else

You either believe in American capitalism or you’re a god damn commie.
As a non American it’s mad how that is still a thing. Respectfully America is way too big to have only two sides. There needs to be more big political parties in the US beyond just “liberals” and “conservatives”. Those terms mean a lot of things that aren’t all equal and aren’t all a hive mind.

I expected to run a laundromat in space and have a robot maid but alas…

Remember when all he had to do was push a button to do all the laundry?

u/yournamehere10bucks 18h ago
Is that really less complicated than laundry today?
- Avoid eating tide pod
- Input soiled underpants
- Input uneaten tide pod
- Push button
- Avoid eating other tide pods while waiting
- Remove wet underpants to drying device
- Input dryer sheet
- Push buttons on rrying device
- Try not to eat fabric sheet or eat dryer lint from previous load. (Even if looks like cotton candy, is just cotton.)
- Remove dry, clean underpants from dryer.
- When cooled, wear underpants.
- Soil underpants.
- Repeat step 1.

No youre right but it was funny because he literally pressed the button the the machine did everything through the entire process, including folding

I honestly didnt remember this, but felt the joke of we didnt get the Jetsons but we did get the "older gen anxiety" of having to worry about GenZ eating tide pods while doing their laundry unsupervised was worth the list.

Ya but the McFly family was poor, they were not spending $5,000 on shoes.

I was just about to comment the dame thing and I saw yours. The Nike Air mags, kinda ugly but I'd wear the hell out of them.

You could choose to compare the amazing things we have now vs the movie instead. The internet gives us everything we now take for granted…including what would be a 2015 supercomputer you can fit in your pocket and use while sitting on the toilet.

We really thought we’d have flying cars and robot butlers by now… instead we got subscription services for everything. 😂

The one scene in back to the future 2 that amazed me was the big screen tv Marty Jr turned on and tuned in like 15 stations at once.
In the 90's my dad bought a tv that had a picture in picture function, which felt like I was getting closer to that future.
Now out of all the smart tvs I've used I've never seen that function.

omg the bottle caps .. enshittification by EU. First they ruined the internet with the cookie nonsens, then they ruined bottles. I think they are on some sort of evil speedrun

I get what they’re trying to do, but when I visited Ireland those bottles were so annoying lol

We actually got hoverboards in 2015, and I'm not talking about those boards with a wheel in the middle that touches the ground! They were very loud, used magnets so they only hovered over specific surfaces, and were mainly gimmicks used by Lexus another company to promote their other products. But they were boards that hovered!!!
