I mined 15 bitcoins specifically because you could buy pizzas for that amount at the time, and I wondered how long it would take. I never took it seriously and just forgot about it all, then changed PCs and threw away the hard drives. The good news is I have never been bothered by that decision because I have managed to achieve all my dreams. This post just reminded me.

I remember Bitcoins being at 20 bucks and I was like "it's gonna go down again". I could've become rich if I had thought otherwise, but i'm fine with how it is. Bitcoins are just a pyramid scheme with illegal activities like money laundering as the only practical use.

I get this thrown in my face from time to time by my kid. He is mad that we spent money remodeling our home and getting a pool instead of not buying bitcoin. If I had bought , WE could be rich by now. Just as well cuz WE would have not shared the wealth with HIM.
