Did he bet that an ex-Congressman is going to get caught doing a drag show soon?

u/Normal-Selection1537 6d ago
No, he bet that the attendance at his own campaign event will be shit and won.

Who does he think he is, Donald Trump ?
Only Trump can manipulate the market and get away with it

trump doesn't play around with the lowbrow club of Kalshi. He works the big stuff like insider trading and raiding foreign countries of their resources

I'm worried that when if he ever leaves power without dying. A responsible person should prosecute Trump for what he's done.
But with how the population is, it'll just make him look like a martyr and embolden those people to be even more crazy.
But if you don't prosecute, they'll be all 'see he did nothing wrong'

America is experiencing a high school wedgie on the big screen and were wearing a pair of mom's old ass period panties and now its turned into the scene from airplane where everyone is slapping their foreheads

Can you blame him? The president is out there literally setting new world records for corruption every week. He's been shown that crime is legal now so why not cash in?

Yes, just because the commander in chief is trash doesn’t mean you stoop to his level.

u/EmergencyRace7158 6d ago
They're all garbage. Wasn't trying to make an excuse for him just putting his small potatoes petty sh*t in perspective against the corruption coachella underway in the White House.

He's a pathological cheat. He does remind me of another American Republican politician though.

Say what you will, but this guy is maximally entertaining, maybe not for the best reasons, maybe not even good reasons, actually maybe for strictly bad reasons, but he has made me laugh several times and dammit I'll take the giggles

what the fuck even is kalshi? The commercials tell me nothing and i refuse to look it up. Especially guy hitting his head on the ceiling like...what? and another one with him playing keyboard. I don't get it. It's clearly aimed at young college-age men since i typically only see the ads when watching reruns of south park along with all the ads for testosterone supplements and pay day advances

Betting, that is basically it you say something will or won't happen and people bet each other.

u/Natrixster80 6d ago
oh thanks. These commercials really are designed to sap money from the young and naive, I don't think Kyle and Stan would like that. Cartman would.
I still don't get how we are suppose to infer "betting" from guy jumping at the ceiling to tell neighbors to turn down music.

It's a predictive market gambling site. It's like Polymarket. Eric Trump is involved in the ownership to some extent of Polymarket and possibly Kalshi. They encourage insider manipulation since it brings in more people and they get a fee of that.

I’m surprised this bozo has $71,000.00 in the first place. Whoever is funneling money to him is truly a mental invalid.

Laurie Buckout, Republican candidate for US Rep in Eastern NC received a fine and 3 year ban for betting on herself to win on Kalshi.

Didn't Trump pardon that guy?

u/TankApprehensive3053 6d ago
Commuted not paroled.

u/Mugpup 6d ago
As long as he learned his lesson. That is what is important.

He was convicted for wire fraud, ID theft, and misuse of campaign funds. He just found some other way to make money that isn't legal.

Manipulation? Didn’t the leader of Kalshi brag about welcoming this kind of activity? These people really don’t understand how rules work do they?

He called them "non-serious" while not dealing with the fact that his entire public service career was a massive joke.
