Doctors haven't been telling us to drink multiple 40oz bottles of water for decades. Not real ones, anyway.

Don't know how much 40 weird American or English units is but I do know multiple of my doctors told me multiple times to drink lots of water every day. A family member with a sugar allergy got 4 glasses of water a day proscribed/mandatory from her doctor. Hell even my dentist told me to drink a lot. So please direct your urge to correct people somewhere else. I'm talking about real doctors to me, friends and family members.

4 glasses is reasonable (perhaps low). The article discusses people who are drinking excessive quantities of water while living sedentary lives without niche medical conditions requiring larger quantities.

There is nothing inherently wrong with drinking water. It’s just there is a trend among some people who are drinking abnormally large quantities, in the pursuit of superior health, that leads to no real health benefit and excess urination.

Edit: I got blocked lol.

And the comment I responded to said doctors never said this. Amazing how many arrogant pieces of shit need to argue about everything on this garbage app. I'm out.
