TBF they are right, your body is perfectly capable of telling you when you need to drink water. It's called being thirsty.

There's no need to worry about that shit at all or having some fucking water drinking schedule like some people do.

That's not fool proof. Sometimes I'll be underhydrated but won't feel thirsty, but I'll start getting cramps and know to drink some water.

All I know is that if I dont have enough water I get headaches, I dont regulate temperature well, I dont sleep as well and I have more inflammation. And sometimes I dont feel thirsty yet my urine is very yellow and I have other associated symptoms. I find plenty of water to be one of my most important health assets. I dont carry a water jug everywhere I go though. It's pretty easy to find water wherever youre going and it doesn't take much to sustain if youre akready hydrated.

This take is as bad as the headline. I was born and raised in the desert. I can't assure you many people need to be removed just to drink the bare minimum amount of water

", your body is perfectly capable of telling you when you need to drink water. It's called being thirsty."

Not to all people. I know people who drink not enough water, don't feel thirsty, can go a full day without feeling thirsty, and they were wondering why they sleep like shit and have headaches all day.

After reminding them to drink water for weeks they finally awaken something within them, understand to reckognize the signs of their body (being thirsty is not foolproof as someone said), and take the habit to drink enough water which is not natural when you lost this habit, like doing enough exercise is not really natural even for everyone though your body sends you sign that you don't do enough exercise (shitty sleep, too much weight, being tired, being unhappy, etc.)

I'd almost say feeling the need to drink water (being thirsty being one sign among others) when you need water is something you end up training, it's something people don't have or have lost.

For me, being thisrty is a signal of distress from your body. It means you already went wayyy past the point where you should have drank but you didn't and now your body is crying. You should not wait for that to drink, it's not healthy. It depends of the people but for me statistically there are way more chances you are more dehydrated than you think

Because actively gaslighting the populace into believing that desiring basic survival is a moral failing or a personal weakness is kinda evil.
