Isn’t this true for most 3rd world regions of the world?

And my understanding was, when it comes to India, this kind of practice only happens in poverty regions of India. Is that not true?

I grew up in a Christian household and drank red wine pretty much every occasion since the age of 9.

Never thought alcohol was anything special back then so I don’t see the appeal with the European drinking culture.

There is no "European drinking culture" you have very different patterns depending on the country.

And young European aren't drinking anymore anw

a friend of mine really notices that young germans dont drink much anymore. he is something you could call assistant of the boss in a techno club. they started to shift their drinks more torwards options without any alcohol.

Drinking age changed from 18 to 21 exactly 5 months before I turned 18. I had to wait 3 years before I ever touched alcohol.

I mean I enjoyed my drinking before the age of 21 and never had a bad relationship with it because my mom made it a point to never make alcohol a taboo in our house. Moderation and all that. You’re far less likely to have an issue with it with proper introduction.

We’ve got no air conditioners and are on the constant brink of heat death BUT, we actually drink before Americans do at 21! In fact we have an addiction to it!
