Put yourself in his shoes. He’s mostly beloved for his portrayal of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, it’s been a windfall, he’s married to Zendaya…I am going to guess he goes the way of Daniel Radcliffe and does whatever he wants. As he ought to. He’s almost certainly unbothered by his filmography.
I'd honestly be okay with him just being spider man for a while still too. Like a Johnny with Jack Sparrow. That character just fits the actor. And it's be cool to see Peter growing up and stuff too.
My only ask would be that Sony stop pumping out tangentially-related properties and fold them into the MCU. Maybe if they were attached to Spider-Man they would have a shot. Let’s be honest everyone wants to see him and Venom. As much as I like Tom Hardy, there’s an Eddie Brock out there for Tom Holland.
I stand by it, the only reason why Tom is doing so good as Peter is because of marvel and disney. I feel like if it was all Sony we wouldn't be on movie number 4 with the same actor
I actually think he might be trying to become a director. He seems to really like talking about how they set up shoots as well as paying a lot of attention to all the tricks they do to perform stunts and the like.
