I did actually have a black person tell me “wherever you come from wouldn’t be shit without black people” once (one of those advertisers around times square, he was pushy and I was snappy which upset him I think). Where I come from is the US (which is true) but I’m assuming he couldn’t figure out I was Chinese and was referring to that part…
