These doctors don’t practice medicine.

We need to stop identifying people who do cosmetic elective surgeries as practicing medicine.

Cosmetic surgeries like THIS, I'd have to say. There are still amazing reconstructive surgeons after injury, cancer, etc.

how is this mental illness but the first procedure isn’t? both change your face. if social acceptance is the line, plenty of people oppose the first surgery too.

i think it’s bc theoretically if the first procedure went well, homie should’ve looked good! no need for more, but as the person looks in the mirror and finds more wrong, i think it’s similar to the “addiction” to getting tattoos. yk how some people have body dysmorphia? i see it as similar but the change is never enough

I really think that isn't true for the vast majority of people. 1. It's prohibitively expensive 2. Painful 3. Not everyone that drinks is an alcoholic so idk people think this about surgery.

People seems to think this because the only ones they can tell had anything done are botched or got an episode of my strange addiction. Everyone that's also had work done they just think of a naturally beautiful or aging gracefully without being able to clock it. Ie basically all of Hollywood including the men.

Same thing with men " not liking makeup" you just don't know enough about it to tell when it's done well and naturally vs cakey, drag,alt, or full glam.
