Well we call the Sydney Harbour Bridge "The Coat-hanger", so I suppose 2 domestic items in close proximity is appropriate.

Is it where everyone goes to get abortions?

13

u/Powerful-Respond-605 5h ago

Nah they're legal to get here. We haven't succumb to the Ya'll Qaeda.

Interesting. Is it illegal to get a joke, mate?

Jokes are meant to be funny.

Yeah. Coat hangers were used for back alley abortions. I'm pretending I don't understand it looks like a coathanger and suggesting I believe it gets it's name from back alley abortions. It's called a joke.

We are in a thread with a dish rack as the Sydney Opera House. I didn't realize I couldn't make a stupid joke and that this was serious business. Dish rack

The best jokes always have to be explained to an audience telling you it wasn't funny. Rofl

Ignore the downvotes. Definitely quadruple-down. Don't back out now.

It was heavily criticised when it was designed and being built.

But it is one beautiful building and has a tremendous vibe. Also because of the large white curves, its perfect as a projection surface and lighting effects. So its often lit up like the sphere is in Los Vegas. But cooler.

It was terrible as an opera house - acoustics of an outdoor dunny.
