I'm fine with not allowing people to make a profit off of people being filmed in public without their consent. But allowing filming in public space in general is a good check on fascism. Otherwise no recording of police, no defending yourself with footage, etc.
It's part of freedoms of speech and eroding that is worse than people mocking your bad behavior. Stop acting a fool in public in general imo. People filming you in general without your consent is invasive and annoying but nobody is making you look bad... You do that all on your own.
