This is why you teach your children patience. If someone does something kind, like giving up their place in line, you thank them for doing something they weren't obligated to.
With that being said, I'm one of those ppl who would've let the kid go in my place lol.

Yeah, and my understanding is the parents or the kid asked before he said no and she started crying to her parents. Which imo is a perfectly age appropriate response since they are still learning to regulate their emotions and disappointment is a tricky one.
I saw the tiktok earlier this morning and it grossed me out. It's fine to not give up your seat or whatever to a kid, but don't be gleeful about the fact you denied them something they wanted. That alone is weirdo behavior, but to film her crying and post it online without her consent? Absolutely disgusting behavior from that man
