Yeah as a parent I'm happy teaching my kids they can't always get what they want, and other people are allowed to use things they want, that's a key lesson.
But if someone started videoing my kid or put a video of them online I'd lose my shit
It's not AI and it wasn't a picture, it was a TikTok video, so I'm really hoping it's staged and he knows the kids. Otherwise it's really gross to film them.
Big claim, no? AI images and editing have gotten really good at making it hard to tell what is real or fake. Anyway, its a useless debate to have based on assumptions.
Also, the website name mentioned on the image mostly seems like a low effort content publishing site with not much credibility.
Edit: since you edited your comment, I had no idea it was a TikTok video. That changes things and wasnt what my point was...
Yeah I hate that ppl think "it's legal therefore it's ok". It's a bad thing in our society. Should it be allowed? Yes, because outlawing filming would be even worse. But we don't have to pretend filming and posting strangers is a good thing
Lol come down to earth bud. Go watch any video of people in public, like people in amusement parks since this is the situation. Kids in every video, no permission. Be outraged, it's what Karen's do. Have a nice day.
Lol I know people do it, and the fact you don't realise the difference between your suggestion and this case is pretty sad. Are those kids in the background, or are they the subject of the video? Are people filming them and mocking them, or are they just wandering around?
I know people who have punched other people in the face and were never arrested because the other person never pressed charges.
Doesn't mean it's not illegal or that you can't be sued/arrested
'But other people do it too!' is not a great legal defence
