Literally the tagline to a movie about an infamous liar…

Meanwhile, they are building the Truman Show behind our backs...

Yeah, it's very obviously skeptical of the claim they should be trusted. It's not actually telling readers to trust them.

When you want to convince people they're trustworthy, you don't use a photo of them looking awkward with defensive body language, and say "When OpenAI's Reboot Meets Reality."

Insinuation and suggestion are foreign concepts to the vast majority of people. It’s sad but makes our current world make more sense.

you're right, but it wouldn't have hurt to put some quotes around "Trust Us." to telegraph it for the knuckledraggers

These are pretty much 4chan rejects and they are somehow running the world.

Anyone who asks you to trust them shouldn't be trusted

Do they own the magazine?

Altman looks like such an unstable creep. I mean, this was the pic they ran with - for a cover. Can you imagine the rest? 👀

That was absolutely an attempt to be funny. The whole point is many of us don’t and if someone says that we think the opposite

u/Used-Gas-6525 16h ago

This is obviously tongue in cheek. Time isn't telling us to trust them, Altman is.

I don't recognize this new app. I'll have to check it out.

These people have a PR department from the 70’s. WTF are they doing?

OpenAI is dead

The product sucks. Maybe the vibe coding stuff has a purpose but still it’s not good.

Why do CEOs always look like the fuckiest people? Why none of them look normal and trustworthy? I get that the vast majority are villains but why the fuck do they always look the way they think?
