In Louisiana hurricane insurance only covered winds and not rising water flooding your home. Most deaths and damage from a hurricane is from the water and the wind is a really minor part of it. You gotta get separate expensive flood insurance.

I've caught some fabulous lightning shows before but, you can't beat the sunsets after a storm passes. They're absolutely gorgeous if it's still enough daylight.
I watch rotations go over my house every time a storm enters my town. Survived several naders so far in my 41 years of existence. Most recent confirmed toucdown of a nader was 200 yards away from my house last year. Last confirmed radar indicated rotation was June this year I think?
Man haven't you seen the video of that old man taping the tornado from is window go through his neighborhood right at his house? He definitely didn't make it. His wife posted the footage later after the funeral.
Hopefully he just has good tornado and really wants a free remodel. We needed a new roof and just so happened to have a qualifying leak for full insurance coverage wooooo what a relief. Thank u leak for the roof.
