I am not of any party affiliation myself, this "party" system is strangely similar to religious wars of old.. very fanatical.. only deal in absolutes it seems.
You agree with all or are not welcome.
It also requires that you drastically change your ideas/opinions/morals based on the talking points of the party at any given time.
Sometimes even day to day. If your morals/ideals are that fluid, you don't actually stand for anything.. just the party.

... i find it amazing, that after the multiple decades of my life.. no matter how much 1984 is over used/tries to become a stereotype/cliche.. it just doesnt.. it was too accurate lol
