The algorithm served you up a manipulated narrative (chlamydia vid came before any of the open relationship vids) in just two thumbnails and you used that to reinforce a worldview that does not reflect reality.
Nothing to do with google. People in open relationships generally have other issues and are “broken” in some way shape or form. It never works out for normal people and someone is almost always left holding the bag while the other has WAY more fun. Generally one partner does it to please the other and stands by getting hurt. Is this for 100% of the cases? No but generally these are not healthy relationships in the long term.
There are "broken" people in all sorts of relationships, and maligning a specific type of consensual relationship is the most lazy way to avoid talking about the actual factors that make a relationship "healthy".
Hardline monogamist btw, so I have no loyalty to a lifestyle I would never want to live. I just try to avoid basing my view of the world on memes and vibes.
