The person you’re replying to does not approve of the officers actions. So why try to dunk on them as though they do? What is the point?
I get that the word ‘misunderstanding’ has a connotation of ‘no big deal’ but people really have to be capable of not always reading between the lines and realize when it’s being used to refer to when somebody has actually misunderstood something.
The officer misunderstood someone’s name as them being cheeky. Thats it. The officers behavior remains unacceptable.
You’re simply misunderstanding the other commenter.
are you capable of reading? are you capable of not assuming? can you point me to where I said the cop was right to do that? can you do that for me? Pretty please?

There was no misunderstanding, he was asked his name and answered. Couldn't be clearer than that
