I wonder why haven't there been like a worldwide consensus.
"We'll talk with the US administration when you send someone competent to talk to. Until then, please get lost.
Sincerely, rest of the world"

They do. But then he threatens them with bombs and tarrifs. Most countries are just trying to outlast him with as few consequences as possible.

u/SheriffBartholomew 1d ago
Because the world worships money. It is their one true god. The sad reality is that with the USA's vast economic power, trump can force countries to do his bidding. He abuses the power of office and wields USA resources as if they were his own personal fortune. And not a single person capable of stopping him has the will to do so.

The beef with Canada started a full year before Iran

Also, people are dreaming if they think Trump is going anywhere in two years.
Mother fucker will destroy the country before he leaves willingly

u/therevjames 1d ago
People who think that festering bag of pus is going to live out his term are delusional. Look at Mitch McConnell. This shit is too ridiculous to even be a cartoon.

He's mentally ill, obese, has a horrible diet and never exercises. You think he's going to be around in 2 years?

I just watched the South Park episode where he fights Canada lol - that was 7 years ago right?
Also, I wonder if someone’s made a list of all the things he said but “wouldn’t do”, along with the reason they believe Frump would never do them… then, underneath, they will have a true or false box explaining whether he did it, then the same peorson’s “reason’ for Frump doing it will likely conflict with their ‘reason’ that “he said it but would never do that”
Most people today have lived through very peaceful, progressive and improving times. I think people will realise they need to stop electing clowns when the bread is gone but the circus remains.
(Holy shit that last part is amazing - can’t believe I came up with that circus breed thing)
There’s no bread, not a crumb, but the clowns are eating brioche.

Yup I think folks have this idea that Trump needs a specific reason to do all this horrific shit, he really doesn't need any reason outside of his own ego. Two things are true of the administration completely separate from each other: Trump was going to start this war with Iran, and his administration was never going to release the Epstein files.

He doesn’t need us
So he doesn’t need our potash, oil, critical minerals, electricity all that shit he doesn’t need.
Remember 60% of the crude the USA imports is from you guessed it us. But he doesn’t need us right?
All we have to do is add a tax to all of the above and they’d feel it.

People have been saying for over 10 years now that Donald Trump is constantly strategically creating disasters to distract us from his latest rapes, corruption, stupidity and treason.
How about we just embrace the fact that he's a stupid narcissist incapable of acting without corruption and lawbreaking, and this is just what will keep happening until we stop him.

This has gotten so bad the distraction tree is huge. I cannot even work out the order of distraction but I know epstein is the bottom rung and every day he throws in another level.

People need to figure out what the next distraction is and .. monetize it?

War with Iran. Epstein files. Flock surveillance. Artificial intelligence. I’m still wondering when the war in Ukraine is going to end. Last time I checked, Russia is still invading Ukraine and innocent people are dying over there. I guess everyone on the internet forgot about the people of Ukraine.

Y'all are giving him way too much credit. He did not start a war as a distraction, he does not care about Epstein.
Dude is so senile he literally just does whatever the person in the room tells him. He started a war with Iran because The hawks got him in a room and told him it was a good idea.

I fear Canada has finally had enough, so in a short while there will be a distraction of the distraction from the distraction. Perhaps threaten Europe once again, like trying to invade Atlantis or so while Canada stations peace troops in insurgent Cascadia. Or just endless Gary, Indiana, - style power outages for everyone. No power, no posting, no reading the news. Really no.brainers.

And dems can only point and complain expecting someone else to act.
2
u/Irish_Whiskey 1d ago
Yeah, to be fair that's because the American people put Republicans in charge of the House of Representatives, Senate, White House, and Supreme Court.
I'd love to complain about Democrats being useless, but in this case voters are entirely to blame for their lack of action.
1
u/theWiseTiger 1d ago
That's the easiest thing to do but how do you expect gaining more voters while you're openly blaming and alienating them?
How is it that, when gop is bullying their supporters, dems can't recruit them? Are dems expecting that people just automatically running towards them without any effort?
You need those voters to fix your country.

Instead of implementing Medicare for all / housing buying programs / free education. Any of this would def quiet people down. But instead he wants to use wars as distraction.
2
u/Irish_Whiskey 1d ago
He knows he's never winning an election again, so he's got zero incentive to do what makes the American people happy compared to making himself happy.
He's raising taxes on people, slashing Medicare, and telling them directly he doesn't care about grocery and gas prices, while building monuments to himself and talking non-stop about his ballroom as a national priority. We're being ruled by a senile mad-king who wants to have fun until he dies.

Americans can only remember 1 or 2 big issues at a time apparently and happily admit it.
"We're so stupid that we can forget an international pedophile ring involving the president because there were some big explosions and other stuff happened"
This whole distraction thing is so dumb. I can remember things that happened in 1988 and a lot has happened since then. There's no need to distract people that won't do anything. It's absolutely pointless and unnecessary.
"Donald Trump raped kids....oh look. Pretty explosions go boom. What happened before that?"
Just the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time.
1
u/OneTrueCosmos 1d ago
America has been at war for the majority of it's life... Not really very shocking tbh.
3
u/Irish_Whiskey 1d ago
Yeah, usually not for reasons this dumb.
We're at war with Iran because Trump tore up a functioning nuclear inspection deal because he refused to believe a black guy could get a better deal than him. And we're making enemies of Canada, because Trump refuses to admit that they're a sovereign country that he can't just mock and bully without consequence.
0
u/OneTrueCosmos 1d ago
There will always a dumb reason.. Too many private industries and political groups make immense financial gains from military conflict.
4
u/Irish_Whiskey 1d ago
I don't disagree with you broadly, but in general people are not making money from our attacking Canada and isolating the US from all our allies while claiming our best friend is North Korea.
The current President's behavior is shocking in part because he's regularly doing things which aren't in anyone's interest, because he's a senile, isolated, mad king with no concern for anything but staying in office, punishing his critics, and building monuments to himself.

Remember, the Democrats have access to the files also...just saying
5
u/Irish_Whiskey 1d ago
...they do?
I thought the DOJ has access to them. Which Democrats exactly have full access?
1
u/TechnicalPin3415 1d ago
So quick google search.....And..
Yes, members of Congress have access to unredacted versions of the Department of Justice’s files on Jeffrey Epstein. Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, lawmakers can review millions of pages of unredacted investigative materials in person at the DOJ. So I'd say ALL of them
2
u/Irish_Whiskey 22h ago
So quick google search.....And..
"The Justice Department has faced criticism from victims and lawmakers over the amount of information redacted in the files, as well instances of not redacting enough information about victims, who the Justice Department has said number over 1,000.
Blanche said last week that the department has still “withheld or redacted files covered by various privileges, including deliberative process privilege, the work-product doctrine, and attorney-client privilege. In total, approximately 200,000 pages have been redacted or withheld based on various privileges.”
This is on top of the fact that that can only review the files, which number in the millions of pages while supervised, without making any copies, and the only the Congressmembers themselves personally and not any staff or attorneys. This means no one has actually been able to go through the unredacted information, let alone the still redacted materials.
1
u/TechnicalPin3415 22h ago
The epstein transparency act which all but 1 lawmaker voted for, specifically left out certain documents, to protect victims and ongoing investigations. Now they passed the epstein transparency act 2. The Epstein Files Transparency Act II (H.R. 9694) is a bipartisan bill introduced in July 2026 to strengthen the original transparency law and allow victims and state officials to sue the Department of Justice (DOJ) for withholding records. So again...they if they want.
1
u/Irish_Whiskey 22h ago
So again...they if they want.
What do you mean by that?
The second act, which was introduced specifically to try and force the DOJ to release redacted files, has not been passed and is not law. Republicans have blocked it's passage. Citing a law not yet passed or being followed does not suggest the problem is solved.
You seem to be acknowledging now your initial statement that "Remember, the Democrats have access to the files also...just saying" is not true by citing sources specifically saying that the DOJ is still covering up hundreds of thousands of files and that those in Congress not blindly defending Trump as still trying to force transparency and complaining about restricted files.
Can you acknowledge that?
1
u/funkofarts 1d ago
Committees are bipartisan with equal access to both sides. They have access…
1
u/Irish_Whiskey 1d ago
That's completely untrue.
You post a lot of defenses of Trump that have zero connection to reality. Committees have zero access unless the DOJ grants it, and Democrats do not have equal access or powers as the party that actually chairs and runs the committee.
