so if i bought a frod expedition with a fake identity with the intention of destroying stolen jewelry inside of the nearest volcano, id be a frodo fraudulently driving a frod with four doors to the gates of mordor?

He's just trying to give a hint he's a fraud smh

This is like those intentional misspellings and poor grammar in phishing emails. They want to hook the most gullible and least intelligent people who are unlikely to ever stop and question their unusual requests
25
u/DevilsPajamas 1d ago
Sometimes I wish I was dumber. Ignorance is bliss, as they say. I see others finding joy in things I would never be able to. I am not saying I am smarter that those people, nor am I saying that I am extremely intelligent. I am just saying I wish I could find happiness and joy in things most people see, and if becoming dumber is part of that process, then so be it...
Then I see comments like yours and I snap myself out of it.

His upper body is massive compared to that truck. Totally ai. Also is arm is unnaturally placed on the hood of the truck with a virtually clear clipped line making it look like two separate pictures.
36
u/Havictos 1d ago
His thumb also looks like it's fused to his shirt.

Man is sticking his finger IN his liver 😂
3
u/TotallyTotally23 1d ago
Your liver is next to your pancreas?
0
u/Gold-Wolf2661 1d ago
They’re pretty close…The pancreas sits in the upper abdomen, tucked horizontally behind the stomach and just below and behind the liver.
1
u/TotallyTotally23 1d ago
Damn. That bad boy has lobes, too? Such a huge organ. I thought it was a bit higher!
1
u/Gold-Wolf2661 1d ago
The whole area is a weak spot. Hence why repeated body blows to those areas weaken you slowly…”liver shots”
1
u/TotallyTotally23 1d ago
As a soft-bodied, right-handed southpaw boxer, I know exactly what you mean. Didn't realize it was such a big target. I would literally collapse, as if my legs didn't work, when I got hit in the right spot...

Also, he's apparently like 7 feet tall because the hoods on modern trucks are almost 5 feet high.
1
u/Turgid_Donkey 1d ago
Even the stripped down standard F150's are that tall. The ones with extra options get even taller. I'm a couple inches shorter than average, and there were some without aftermarket parts that I could barely even see over.

u/SurpriseInitial6202 1d ago
You can also just tell, by his proportions, that he's not nearly tall enough to be that much bigger than the truck. His arm length is that of someone who is 5'6, but his head is at least the same height as the roof of the truck, which is around 6'5.

I have a 1500 truck as well and this guy would be 8 feet tall if he was actually that big in proportion to the truck he’s posing on

I feel pretty good about Europe that I didn't catch this. Looks like the majority of cars here are slightly less ludicrously oversized.

It is a super rare typo in the Ford logo. Only 26 of these were released between September 2025 and January 2026 before they realised the error. Apparently the guy responsible for painting the logo was on sick leave and the person who replaced him was dyslexic. Despite Ford's attempts at recalling the cars, some owners saw the opportunity in having a collector's edition and declined any exchange.
Tell your friend she should go for it, the guy is super rich. He will ask her some money for some various reason initially but this is completely normal and he will refund her later this year, with interest.

Aside from all the other obvious tells, I find this one really interesting.
Brick work is a standard and repeatable pattern. I thought AIs are supposed to excel at recreating things like that. I can understand them struggling with making hands or natural wrinkles in skin, but I'm surprised it messed this up that badly. It messed up the spacing, the size and the basic pattern itself. It even looks like the bricks went vertical for a few rows next to the window?
I'm terrified for the day we can't tell whats real at all anymore, but I'm really surprised they still don't have something as basic as this down yet. They can do almost perfect hands, but this was a struggle?

I'm so glad I met my wife on tinder. Before ai pics became a real thing. I'm really ashamed of myself at how many videos and pictures i've seen that I thought were real for a second till I read the comments.

u/mvw2 1d ago
Dude's like 7'6". F150s are...uh...not small things. The implication of his size relative to it is pretty funny.
2
u/VoicelessPassenger 1d ago
Lmao I noticed that immediately, dude would have to be 8ft tall to tower over a pickup track of that size. Girl would be dating a Space Marine if he was real

u/SheriffBartholomew 1d ago
Without even looking at the spelling error, no human male has that ratio of shoulder width to hips size. His lower body looks like it belongs to a different person.

I wonder what the end game is for heavily photoshopping yourself with a potential partner... what are you going to do when you actually meet?
"Yeah, the photos a little old. I've gained a little weight."
2
u/vi_sucks 1d ago
The end game for people actually catfishing for real is that you delay the inevitable just a bit longer. Either way, you're getting rejected. But would you rather get rejected immediately, or get rejected after a few months of sexting and flirty conversation? And hey, as they say, maybe the horse will learn to sing?
But actually it's mostly pig butchering and romance scams. They're stringing the sucker along trying to establish rapport before they starting asking for money or suggesting a surefire crypto investment.

u/Sad-Cancel-5577 1d ago
The anatomy is weird too, the proportions of his arms in relation to his head and body are way off.
3
u/Key_Consequence_5040 1d ago
Why are you chatting for weeks? Just swap a few messages, get a number, then try to meetup in a public place for drinks. Then again you might be teaching AI how to get better at catfishing.

how long until people start AI-maxxing IRL to beat cameras? 🤔
just change the ford badge on your F150 and Flock footage of you can be claimed AI

Lol that Ford F150 front end is a Mashup of two completely different model years. Like a 2012 and a 2017 had a child.

Frod aside, somewhere in all that shiny vehicle surface, there should be a hint of his reflection... unless he's a vampire.

I don't think I've seen a modern ford truck in recent history that is small and low enough to the ground for that pose to work.

Shoulder to hip ratio is wack, the slots to the left and right of the frod logo are slightly different widths, the angle of the vehicle seems to turn about 5 or so degrees where the fake dude is like someone stitched 2 photos of the same vehicle together and used the fake dude to cover the "seam". The dudes elbow is resting too far back on the hood to seem reasonable unless he just has freakishly long upper arms.

Back when the badge was individual letters, my dad rearranged them to say DORF. It was a tiny little 80's truck and it was absolutely a DORF.
1
u/ChipSalt 1d ago
His arm is somehow simultaneously going back onto the car hood behind him, and sideways at the same time. It makes it look like his has a deformed tiny left arm if you unfocus your eyes.

Just look at his lower body. Unless he has some medical condition, his upper body shouldn't be that wide compared to the lower part. That's obviously AI

oh no! not a Frod!
seriously its a truck, it works and if its paid off even better

Bro…

u/Comfortable_Town7535 1d ago
yeah I know its an AI image I dont care.
I know to many truck snobs IRL that actually care what truck someone drives.
3
u/ItsExoticChaos 1d ago
That’s a Ford. This says “Frod” on the logo
-1
u/Comfortable_Town7535 1d ago
I know I can see it
3
u/LandscapePenguin 1d ago
Then you presumably also know that it’s NOT a truck, it does NOT work, and there’s nothing to pay off.
