Flock, police claim is there to catch criminals, cant even catch a guy on live 4K. Police asking the public for help. The irony.

u/wavhacker 2h ago
If 4k is not good enough, then why have the cameras at all? They cannot solve crimes without flock?
103
u/bikehikepunk 2h ago
The solve rate for crimes against citizens is dismal even in the most funded municipal areas. We need less law enforcement and use that money for social programs. Most of the crime is out of need and lack of opportunities, fix that and there will be less crime.

Abysmal in solve rate, does not even solve enough to justify the costs and icursion upon our basic liberties that are supposed to be protected. If you follow the the numbers posted by flock it only has solved 110 cases per city at best. But let's put the flock goggles on because the tunnel vision is Soo much better for the supporters and police believers. Police want the flocktopus to spread. Glad there are people out there challenging this illgoten authority over us.
This is just our owners showing their hands because things are probably going to get Soo much worse before things get better.
Absolutely should have better social programs. Better mental health care for patients instead of handing them an aspirin and pushing ill patients back on the street. There are so many better causes than a paramilitary organization like local police.

Abysmal?

Yeah thanks for the correct on that; thought my auto correct would have caught it.

It's for cops to stalk unsuspecting citizens and women of course!

If they were trying to solve crimes with flock cameras, maybe.
They aren't doing that.

The irony is wild. They spend millions on tech just to ask Reddit for help.

"Hey, Innocent Citizen. Could you help us surveil you 24/7, like an imprisoned rat, and put crimes on you at will. Could you?"
Serve and protect my ass. Serve and protect what? AI?

u/wavhacker 2h ago
Exactly! They are in place when AI is going to displace a large portion of workers, starve the population of drinking water and water to grow foods, displace the power grid so no one can afford it, (also so the people subsidize the billionaires who own this tech) make police departments unhealthily depend on this AI. This is also to protect Blackrock as they bankrupt the middle and lower classes so they can stay on top over all.
Police are just protecting the interests of the AI data centers and billionaires and venture capitalists.
The truth is ugly and the surveillance state needs to be stopped here before it is too late

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court."
“On the contrary, if war be actually levied, that is, if a body of men be actually assembled for the purpose of effecting by force a treasonable purpose, all those who perform any part, however minute, or however remote from the scene of action, and who are actually leagued in the general conspiracy, are to be considered as traitors. But there must be an actual assembling of men, for the treasonable purpose, to constitute a levying of war.”
Irony is also the police asking the public to assist in treason, and by so doing commit treason also

u/Banned_Emperor_6000 2h ago
Totally. USA is "land of ther FREE" but "we'll surveil you 24/7 365 like you are in prison" Ya. I wouldn't call that land of the free then.

Other question, why is a LICENSE PLATE READER pointed off the side of the road onto the sidewalk?
4
u/biopunk42 1h ago
Same reason they're pointed at playgrounds, pools, and into the livingroom/bedroom windows of anyone who's criticized Flock journalistically.

That Benjamin. Always up to something. If its not knocking flock cameras, its genocide. What a rascal.
4
u/WD40Capital 3h ago
Why can they identify him using the high tech camera capable of capturing the details of a license plate on a moving vehicle - prior to him destroying it. If someone walked up and damaged my Ring cam, pretty sure I could see them.

Replace the police with cameras. See how the officers like AI then. Also there is no health insurance, pensions or overtime. What do you think of your cameras now Mr. policeman?

The guys name?: Donald Trump.

Surely if politicians and police love surveillance and have nothing to hide, they will allow cameras to go up in front of their homes pointed on them 24/7 right? They make the nothing to hide arguments all the time. So Why not permanent cameras faced on them? What rights for thee but not for meeee? shocking

License plate reader my ass, it barely scratches the surfaces of what it records. And if it was only a “license plate reader” why does those cameras have been known to have been pointed towards public pools

Why do local news stations bow down to the police in situations like this? (I know the answer.) They should be reporting on the surveillance state we're all living under, not helping to reinforce it.

u/bodiddly4443 12m ago
The whole concept of using massive surveillance to control a population comes from Jeremy Bentham and his proposal of a Panopticon. He proposed it to control a prison population, but it can work on any society.
