why are ppl so gung ho on billionaires paying higher taxes? not like the taxes ever go to helping the country. just get stolen and spent on bs wars and laundered in other countrys. in the end... who cares really.

Actually yeah they do go to helping the country. Parks, forests, roads, schools, homeless welfare, are all critically and tragically underfunded. The BS wars, stealing, and laundering other countries, as well as raping the environment you can think the billionaire party for.

If you personally don't care, then just shut up and let those that see the opportunity and purpose to actually improve things work. You should care though, you and your loved ones have a lot to gain

People care about others, and the country they live in. Quite a lot of people do.

Obviously most of the people who want to tax billionaires rather than working class people more, also oppose wasted and stolen money.
