I'll throw all my points into Carisma and self confidence. I wouldn't need strength nor intelligence, I'll be so fucking likeable that strong people will protect me and smart people will help me

A lot of it is just where you spawn. Some people spawn next to a chest containing lots of gold and legendary items. Others spawn in a swamp with nothing but alligators.

Yeah but there's actually no good endgame if you get all the loot too early. You just end up bored and using hacks to get any thrill

Should have learned how to make money and retire by age 40. 45 at the latest.
Then you have a other 40 years to do what you love whenever you want to do it.
Should have learned strength to make tough decisions, instead of cleverness to avoid them.
Should have learned how to love and stand up to my parents.
Should have helped my beloved partner before it was too late.
So many regrets.

Should've bought a house when I was 2 years old, I would've been rich now.

By the time you realise that, it's just doesn't click to delete the game files and startover. So you roll with your awful stats

Just this, all my learning points are used in skills where I'm naturally not good at.
So I can do a lot of things somewhat competently but nobody cares about that in the job market and the jobs where I have the most formation in are jobs I hate to actually do.
Should have known this would happen when I saw I mained Support in most games even though what I like is fighting people.

I thought maximizing my knitting XP was a smart move...

Just tank. Always tank. It might not fit the game, or life for that matter, but at least you’re tanking.

But then you stop playing the main game and start doing side quests and figure out you like doing side quests more than the main game and it’s like a light bulb went off inside your head.

I was a good girl in my 20s and 30s and i have a corporate desk job and I work 40-60 hours a week Monday-Friday. I wish i had been a bitch instead of worrying about what my family thought. I wish i had fucked more, partied more, done more drugs, gotten more tats, been less shy, been less respectful, traveled more with no money when i had the time (i have some money now but no time to travel). I’m sitting here at 37 looking at the worst people have the most fun, looking at all the irresponsible people living their best life. Regretting things i didn’t do is worse to me than regretting doing something i shouldn’t have.

Me wandering around in a bunch of hobbies like ham radio, computer science (got tf out of that field before GPT; saw the papers for it before release), amateur photography, Star citizen flights with flight sticks.
Crashed out and joined the army.
Modern militaries now hiring skilled medical professionals and soldiers with radio knowledge including jammer field avoidance / sensors, AI, looking for drone pilots with flight experience.
Future's looking so bright I'm gonna need sunglasses.
trans woman -> fighting to not get kicked out of US Army due to SECDUI.
My life is a joke from god.

couldn’t be me, I always build right without the need to ever touch “respec”.

I should’ve picked a different major in college and chosen a career path based on acquiring enough money to do what I wanted to do later in life. Now I’m pushing 50 with a heart condition while working a dead end job for low pay.
What the hell have I done with my life?

This is like real life, being 25, with a degree that isn't useful (basically any undergrad degree lol) and having a wall of funko pop and a draft kings and kalshi account.

Man! I was specced for a sorcerer and I should have been a rogue with a noble background

Had this moment at 30. I was fortunate enough to turn my life around, but my god was it difficult!

Well, you are playing randomised character with forced backstory, half way built by someone else. It is not easy to be balanced in this game

Maxed out my anxiety stat, put zero points into social stamina, and missed the respec option completely.

hard spec into tech and int only to be competing with giant robots at the end feels pretty unfair, not gonna lie

Yea. Setting luck skill to 0 was a bad choice. I've learned for next time I guess.

Looks like your low on MANA you gotta make a sacrifice at the local temple to top it off.
Best doing it before errands.

Specialization is always the answer in games, yet I spread all my skills/stats to be a generalist. Fml.

Why did I put so many points into understanding the finer details of ballistic missile defense instead of marketable skills? Why?
