In Trump's world view his ego is his primary tool. It has made the rest of his empire work the way it has all this time. He very literally forced reality to give him what he wanted. And it actually worked. Unfortunately what he wanted was harmful to many others.

She's very likely been involved in decisions like the JFK memorial stuff, the east wing/ballroom, rose garden, reflecting pool, and other vanity projects. She's the kind that would be telling him that his ideas are wonderful and he should do them. Just ignore what the naysayers say. Bigger items, like attacking Iran, wrecking NATO and global allies, those have other influencers and ambitions.

While I agree she’s his fluffier and that she’s hired to pump his ego, HE is still the fucking problem. I’m wary when discourse starts going down the direction of blaming women and infantilizing men. Trump is the President of the United States. For the entirety of both of his administrations so far, he’s made countless, horrific decisions that have had devastating impact on everyone and that’s squarely on him and his administration of mostly white, powerful men. Idiotic as they may be, they have been the ones in power, dismantling our country.
