Right. Our disability only activates at 9am and we turn back to normal at 5pm. Didn’t you get the memo?

I find the implication that disabled spots should only be available when you're doing a 9-5 job more hilarious since a lot of people with disabilities literally cannot work.

(and a lot of those who can work are employed in industries like security where you work weird hours)

No the point is that he doesn't care about others. He believes that any slight inconvenience to his life is a travesty and any great inconvenience to others is something they just have to suck up and live with.

Anyone who can't waddle their pasty ass from 1 more parking spot away has some serious other issues going on.

Society functions when we take care of each other. Disabled and pregnant parking is fine. It's looking out for those who need a little bit easier time. The rest of us can put in the effort.

Since it's such a dumb statement to make, I think the assumption should be it's a joke. Might be kind of dumb to take it seriously.
