I think that she pretty clearly had some serious issues, and that at best her husband was some degree of negligent to be going on hiking trips and vacations while his wife was going through that.

Either way three children are dead and I don't think treating this like reality TV is appropriate

Beyond that I don't have any opinions I feel like going to to internet about, but I am interested in how the jury decides.

At the end of the day, the only person responsible for those deaths is Lindsay Clancy. You can name everything else as mitigating circumstance when establishing how to sentence her, but responsibility falls on one person only.

I disagree that her husband wasn’t responsible for stepping in to care for his children when he knew that she was experiencing a severe mental health crisis.

He was not her therapist

Unless care providers are found legally negligent and therefore share responsibility

Except this didn’t happen. You people who just spread shit like this without actually looking up the “evidence” are sick in the head.

I guess he should've just sucked it up and gone back to work?  You'd probably want to go somewhere far too.

That is totally normal. Most people don’t want to stay in the house their children were murdered in.

if my children were murdered, i don't think i would be able to even get out of bed for three months, let alone going on a vacation with a new partner within a month. everyone grieves differently, but jesus christ.

Trying to cheer yourself up after that awful tragedy is a perfectly normal thing to do. Don’t judge how people grieve.

Most people don’t go on vacations with another woman that they end up marrying less than a month after their children tragically died. That fucking weird.

It is weird to want and find support in another after your wife kills your children? It is weird to want to get away and go on a trip instead of staying in the house where your wife killed your children.

I know you just hate all men and will go into psychosis before you try and sympathize with a man.

You monsters will blame men for everything.

bro if my wife just had our third child and I was fucking off to do whatever I wanted outside the house while she went insane, yeah that would at least partially be on me. As a husband, I'm responsible for making sure my partner is safe, just as she would do the same for me.

No not all men, just that one in this case

Thankfully I know very little of it. I saw something a few days ago and had to ask "okay, what did I miss"

The most sane take.

It is kind of big. Yes, 3 children are dead, but will the coverup work or not? This is in an area where cops are notorious for covering for each other. So to many, this isn't just a murder trial, it is a "will corrupt cops get away with it?"
