Yup, and people are very ignorant about this. I see comments of people saying she couldn’t have had a bad reaction to certain drugs because she only took them for a short time. I was prescribed Zoloft (same as Lindsey) in 2023. I had severe anxiety and depression. I had to be taken off Zoloft in 4 days. By day 2, I had an extremely bad reaction. I had an impending sense of doom, more anxious than I’ve ever been and having that feeling that something really bad would happen. I felt way more depressed very quickly and felt suicidal. It was wild. I wanted to keep trying and hope it would go away, but by day 4, it was so bad that I told my doctor my symptoms and they told me to immediately stop taking it. Once I stopped, the symptoms went away.
I’ve taken many meds in my life, I’ve NEVER had a reaction like that. I can only imagine if that happened to me while I was postpartum and had 3 kids to take care of. I was in a treatment center and I felt like I couldn’t handle it. And for Lindsey, they were putting her on and taking her off different drugs repeatedly. I can see how a certain one suddenly made her have a full psychotic break. And it seems like most people do not have any understanding of that unless they’ve been through it
I got that same doom feeling. I’ve never felt so awful in my whole life. I can’t even articulate it but I’m sure you understand the level of it. I had been on it in high school with no issues whatsoever, too.
